PS Plus August 2024 free games reveal date and nine big games officially leaving
July has been a decent month for PlayStation subscribers. The Essential offerings were a mixed bag largely saved by Borderlands 3, meanwhile, there were some great additions for Extra and Premium. Many PS Plus subscribers are hoping next month will be better, and we don’t have too long left to wait. The reveal date for the PS Plus August 2024 free games is near and we know of nine games officially leaving,Next month is set to be huge for gamers. There is the release date for Black Myth Wukong, one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year, and there is also the release date for Star Wars Outlaws. And, if you’re a fan of the galaxy far, far away, you also have the re-release of Star Wars Bounty Hunter to anticipate ,We cannot wait for Black Myth Wukong next month, but we’re equally excited for the PS Plus August 2024 additions. The reveal date for when the curtain will be pulled aside is near, and we have our finger’s crossed for some great games.

- The PS Plus August 2024 Essential games should be revealed on July 31st. The next batch of Essential offerings is always revealed one Wednesday before the next crop of announced giveaways come out. Sony’s PlayStation Blog post confirms that the next Essential selection will be released on August 6th.
As for Extra and Premium, they should be announced on August 14th. Sony typically announces the Extra and Premium additions on Wednesday one week after the release of the Essentials.

4 - NBA 2K24 – Aug 20th (Extra)
NBA 2K24 will not be available as a free game for PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2024. The game was released in September 2023 and is not scheduled to be included in the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium tiers at this time.
5 - Need for Speed Unbound – Aug 20th (Extra)
Need for Speed Unbound will not be available as a free game for PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2024. The game was released in December 2023 and is not scheduled to be included in the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium tiers at this time.
6 - SpellForce III Reforced – Aug 20th (Extra)
SpellForce III Reforced will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers starting August 20, 2024. As part of the PlayStation Plus Extra tier, SpellForce III Reforced offers an exciting opportunity for players to experience a unique blend of strategy and role-playing elements. 7 - Trials of Mana – Aug 20th (Extra)
If you're a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscriber interested in playing Trials of Mana, it's recommended to add the game to your library before August 20, 2024, as it will no longer be available for free after that date. The game offers an engaging JRPG experience with a unique branching story and party-based combat system.
8 - Destroy All Humans – Aug 20th (Premium)

9 - Destory All Humans 2 Reprobed – Aug 20th (Premium)
